Posted in Random Bloggins on August 8, 2008 by jAMScreen caps from episode 6 of Strike Witches. Air date: 7 Aug. Coincidence? I think not.
Anyway for you info, Strike Witches is being uploaded directly on Crunchyroll by the animation company Gonzo. Whats even better is that it releases on the same day as Japan and its subbed by them as well!
Perhaps thats the future of anime… Broadcast not only thru TV but the interwebs. Nice going.
7 Aug is the reason why 8 & 9 are holidays
Posted in Random Bloggins on August 7, 2008 by jAMSubject title says all. A big thanks to everyone who flooded my handphone and msn. It was a nightmare to expose “All windows”. It also highlighted my need to get an iPhone. N73 can’t handle mass sms for nuts.

Posted in Random Bloggins on July 22, 2008 by jAMMise-En-Scene in Anime
Posted in Random Bloggins on July 15, 2008 by jAMMise-en-scene, french for “Stuff in the scene”, is the use of stuff like shot framing, lighting and color to give a certain underlying message. This is not limited to films. Anime also uses mise-en-scene to give out hidden messages. Such can be seen in Code Geass R2 new OP (Flow – World’s End).
So… This is the shot for major bad ass emperor of britannia. Since he controls the Britannian homeland (America), blue light is shining upon the right side (America), showing control. Asia, which the series is focused on, is in a red hue as it is being slowly conquered by Britannia.
The 2nd prince Schneizel, another bad ass who wants to take over the throne. As he takes control of the Asia region of the Britannia Empire, Asia gets blue-ed by him. And perhaps since he might go against the motherland for the throne, America gets red-ed.
And the main character, Zero, gets the rainbow. Note that the colors are slightly diffused and the unlit areas are totally black, unlike the emperor nor Schneizel’s.
Code Geass is epic and strategy based. Go watch it if u can handle clever plot twists and cliff hangers
Film Art? No thank you
Posted in Random Bloggins on July 9, 2008 by jAMFilm is all about telling stories to the mass public, and earning money from it. Who the fuck thinks that film is an art should be put in a museum should kill himself for wasting film.
Seriously, i’ll rather create something that 75% of the audience can actually watch and understand, than to show something to ‘let the audience think about’. I go to the cinema to be told visual stories. If I want to ‘think about’ i’ll rather go do some assignment books.
(Let audience think my ass. The director must have had no clear intention of what to make, thus creating shit and hoping that some audience would interpret it as something good)
Iron Man VS No Country for Old Man. The difference is so obvious. Awards mean nothing if the general audience hate your film
