Eila says Happy Birthday!

Screen caps from episode 6 of Strike Witches. Air date: 7 Aug. Coincidence? I think not.

 

Anyway for you info, Strike Witches is being uploaded directly on Crunchyroll by the animation company Gonzo. Whats even better is that it releases on the same day as Japan and its subbed by them as well!

 

Perhaps thats the future of anime… Broadcast not only thru TV but the interwebs. Nice going.

    The official subbed releases online is a good sign, though the fanbase is obviously going to demand better quality releases. This is where the studios fail and the fansubbers come in. Hopefully these subtitled online releases are an indication of a possible stateside release.
